Monkey Dragon Jobs. Our Aims
The new kid on the block!
MonkeyDragon decided to set up the site after years of experiencing the mundane and tedious task that is the job search. It’s not a particularly exciting time in anyone’s life so we aim to make it more relaxed, personal and fun with every piece of weaponry needed available on one site.
Please bare with us whilst we establish and source the best partnerships and links available to aid you with your job search. We need the best out there to assist you with the provision of downloads be it CV Templates, Covering Letters or type of questions that may be posed during the interview. If you can find no jobs suitable for yourself, then please do check again another day as it’s an ever expanding database of vacancies.
We aim to build a community of proffessionals, businesses, organisations and individuals who will contribute for the benefit of all of us. The very reason you are on here now means that you're looking for, or considering looking for, a new job. Let's not kid ourselves - it's not exactly one of the highlights of your life, but if we all pull together and have a bit of fun along the way, then it won't seem so much of a chore.
We are not primarily a Job Board, but we do offer this most important of facilities. As the site progresses we envisage this forming a core part of the community with potential employers and candidates alike having the ability to interact with each other via the site prior to any application.
Check out our Forums section - split into four categories for ease of use, so your posting doesn't get lost in amongst some irrelevant topics.
* The Shop Window - You know when you walk past a shop window and there's a little card with a few lines for someone offering their services? Treat this as the same....you never know who might be viewing!
* The Job Search - Covering the entire process from finding a job, applying for it, attending the interview and - hopefully - accepting it.
* General Advice - Everythimg should be covered in here including; Benefits, Your Rights, Training and Education, Careers and Working Abroad.
* The Lunch Break - "People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing". Oh, how true this is. Jokes, Games, Music, Anecdotes, Stories or just general chitter-chatter.....find it in here. There may even be one or two surprises!
In The Knowledge Centre you will find advice and tips on the most common topics - Writing a CV, Interviews, Letters, Training, Your Rights and many others.
The MD Tool Box runs in conjunction with this and contains all the tools you'll need in the form of templates and downloads for you print out to assist you along the way.
The MD Directory contains an A-Z of companies and organisations that we feel will be useful to our members. These have all be vetted by us, so you can trust anything in here.
The MD High Street is the place to browse our shops. These are our trusted partners and we aim to offer you quite a diverse choice.
Finally - the Job Board. "Mighty oaks from little acorns grow". We are still in our infancy and as such you may not find the sheer numbers of apparent vacancies that you do on other, more established boards. We say 'Apparent Vacancies' because very often you'll find these seemingly live jobs you apply for have long since been filled. This scenario will not happen here - every vacancy is still vacant. We operate a simplisitic and 'no frills' style job board for candidates and employers alike.
Simply register your CV and update your profile so employers can find you, and search for relevant jobs in the usual manner. GOOD LUCK with your search - we hope you enjoy your time here.
We sincerely hope you enjoy your visit and if you have any queries, criticism or proposals, please do use the Contact form and we shall endeavor to respond at the earliest opportunity
